Supporting successful reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals with job training, mentorship, and access to resources:
Empowerment House is a comprehensive residential program designed to support African American men and boys experiencing homelessness or instability. Our program offers a range of services, including basic life skills training, job readiness preparation, education and training exploration, vocational training, and parenting classes, to foster stability, self-sufficiency, and positive life changes. Additionally, we provide mental health and addiction counseling, legal assistance, fatherhood support groups, health and wellness services, and community engagement opportunities to support their overall well-being. Our program duration is 90 days, during which we provide temporary shelter and work to connect individuals with resources that promote long-term success
